The Cali School of Music hosts the artists-in residence Shanghai Quartet (whose members lead instruction in strings), houses the Harry Partch Institute for performance training in microtonal music; offers the only Music Therapy curriculum in NJ, and organizes student ensemble tours in the U.S. and abroad. An all Steinway School with over 60 new pianos in the newly refurnished Chapin Hall, the Cali school has 32 practice rooms and houses the 220-seat Leshowitz Recital Hall with state-of-the-art recording and web streaming technology. In addition, the School of Music features several performances and operatic productions, along with masterclasses presented by world renowned artists.
