Program Overview

The Public Relations concentration examines the practice of managing the flow of information between an organization or individual and their publics, along with strategies for shaping public opinion.  Common “PR” activities include speaking at conferences, working with the press and fostering employee communication.  The major is applicable to many career paths including media relations, labor relations, politics, human resources, entertainment, among others.

Curriculum Requirements
