Profile

Mitchell Zemil is a freelance animator and adjunct professor at Montclair State University, specializing in 2D animation. Based in Brooklyn, his work spans various techniques in animation, from hand-drawn traditional animation to motion graphics, stop-motion, and other experimental techniques. His work can be seen in short films, feature documentaries, and commercial projects for the likes of Adult Swim, Planned Parenthood, and more. In addition to teaching in Montclair's Illustration department, he also teaches adjunct at Fairleigh-Dickinson University, spends free time practicing ceramics, and works as the art director for Camp Androscoggin in the summers.
