Profile
Madison Kranis (she/her/hers) is the Program Coordinator at the GCHT. Madison is passionate about human rights advocacy and has been involved with anti-trafficking organizations for several years. Madison transferred from Brookdale Community College, where she focused on Criminal Justice to Montclair State University as a Justice Studies student, taking classes in Human Trafficking, International Justice, and Migration. She later earned her MA in Human Trafficking, Organised Crime, and Migration from St. Mary’s University, Twickenham in London, UK. Madison is currently pursuing an MSc in Sustainability Leadership, expected to be completed in Fall 2025.
Madison focuses on labor trafficking prevention within supply chains and has been featured on a podcast about Conscious Consumerism. She leads the GCHT’s administration, communications, finance, and strategic planning to support the center’s education, research, and advocacy efforts.
The work Madison does at the GCHT ranges from creating professional development courses, leading operational logistics for major events, and managing all GCHT data, newsletters, and reports. She is helping to expand interdisciplinary collaborations across Montclair State University to integrate human trafficking awareness into academic courses. Additionally, Madison is leading the GCHT’s supply chain initiatives, advancing ethical sourcing and corporate accountability efforts.
Specialization
Madison's experience lies within Responsible Business, she recently featured in a podcast discussing the increase of consumer awareness around supply chains and labor practices and how this is applying pressure on businesses to ensure they are prioritizing ethical practices
