Professor Pamela Booker’s Non-profit Wins Newark Arts Start Grant

Instructional Specialist Pamela Booker is an Interdisciplinary Writing/Performance-Media Artist, Educator, and Eco-Activist. In addition to her teaching work, Booker is the Founder-Director of Where’s Your Tree?, a non-profit advocate and partner for urban green initiatives and funding opportunities that affirm a sustainable future for the planet and Black and brown lives.

Where’s Your Tree? was recently named the recipient of the 2023 Newark Arts Start Grant program, in recognition and support of the non-profit’s commitment to advocacy and urban green initiatives. Read more here
