Updates

MA in Social Research and Data Analysis

The Sociology Department is proud to announce its Master’s program will be retitled, the MA in Social Research & Data Analysis! The new name adds the word “Data” to a program that has served students by offering training in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis since 2019. It is a highly flexible 30-credit degree that can be completed in just 16 months. It further offers the advantage of gaining an embedded credential in the Online Certificate in Data Collection & Management with no additional coursework. A Certificate in Business Analytics through advisement can also be added with no additional coursework. Applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis and the GRE is not required. For more information, contact Christopher Donoghue at donoghuec@montclair.edu or apply online for a summer or fall start.
