Montclair Secures Nearly $1 Million in AmeriCorps Funding to Serve NJ Communities
The two grants will help continue the wok in aiding communities still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic
Montclair Named Co-Host for 2026 Association of Research Libraries Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Institute
The University will co-sponsor the event with five other academic institutions at Rutgers University.

Attend the Hinchliffe Classic!
Join us at Hinchliffe Stadium, Saturday October 26 as the Montclair State University Red Hawks take on the William Paterson Pioneers. Be sure to wear your Montclair gear! Stadium gates open at 10:00 a.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
Ticket Information
- Tickets will be sold on-site and sales are cash only
- Montclair and Bloomfield faculty, staff and students are free with University ID
- Non-Montclair and Bloomfield students (middle school, high school, other institutions, etc) are $5 with a valid school ID
- Children under 12 years old are $5
- General admission is $10
Parking Information
- Parking is available in the Hinchliffe deck located at 1 Jasper Street, Paterson, NJ for $7 — credit card only. For more parking information, please review the Hinchliffe Stadium parking guide.

- Harry Franqui-Rivera (History, Bloomfield College of Montclair State University), is quoted in this Yale Daily News article about the 65th Infantry Regiment, known as the Borinqueneers, and the unit’s history and struggles in the Korean War.
- Jin-A Choi (School of Communication and Media), appeared on Dallas radio station KRLD to talk all things pumpkin spice; Choi and other researchers at the Joetta Di Bella and Fred C. Sautter III Center for Strategic Communication recently published the latest version of its annual pumpkin spice popularity report. The study was also mentioned on News12 New Jersey and Retail Dive.
- Jason Frasca and Iain Kerr (Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation), are featured in this NJ Tech Weekly article about a recent 3D printing and innovation workshop they conducted for teachers.

- Amy Tuininga (PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies) appeared on One on One with Steve Adubato to discuss the Institute, the University’s community garden and other efforts to educate and support students.
- Lisa Lieberman (Public Health), appeared on local CBS affiliates in Nevada and surrounding states to discuss preventative health care access for women. The article is also available online.

- To Lucy Candal-Fernandez (Financial Aid), who earned the FAAC designation from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators’ accredited Certified Financial Aid Administrator ®(CFAA) Program.
