Last Chance: Take the Workday Student Project Survey
Workday Student will become Montclair State University’s new student information system within the next one to two years, replacing our current system, Banner. More than 100 of your colleagues are currently collaborating across 13 workstreams to plan, design and build our Workday Student experience. Students recently participated in focus groups and a university-wide survey to share feedback on current systems, helping inform the development of a more intuitive and responsive platform.
Faculty and staff are invited to add their voices by completing the Workday Student Project Survey which closes today, Friday, April 25. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. For more information about the Workday Student Project, visit the Workday Student Project website.
Share Your Feedback on Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction Services on Campus
The Center for Academic Success and Tutoring is seeking feedback from staff and faculty to gather insights and perspectives on the tutoring & supplemental instruction services offered on campus. Please take 5 minutes to answer a few questions. If you have further questions about CAST and would like to learn more about what we do directly, contact Tess Grunseich, Director of Supplemental Instruction, Tutoring, and Academic Coaching at grunseicht@montclair.edu.
Your Input Matters: University Search Committee Process
We invite you to participate in a brief survey designed to gather your feedback on the University-wide search committee process. The purpose of this survey is to assess key elements of the process and identify opportunities for improvement. Your feedback will support efforts to increase the effectiveness, consistency, and fairness of our search practices, while also strengthening our ability to attract top-tier candidates committed to Montclair’s values. The survey should take less than five minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous. Should you have any questions or additional feedback regarding this survey, please contact us at searches@montclair.edu.
Reminders
Summer Friday 2025 Schedule
Summer Fridays will return this year, beginning the week of June 2 and concluding on Friday, August 8 for 35-hour per week AFT librarians and professional staff, 35-hour per week CWA staff and managers. These individuals will work 8.75 hours Monday-Thursday and have Fridays off. Summer Fridays are not in effect during the weeks in which the Juneteenth (June 19) and July 4 holidays are observed.
Flexible working arrangements are a privilege offered at the discretion of the dean or vice president and are not possible for all jobs. We will continue the practice of one remote day during the weeks identified as being eligible for Summer Fridays. Please note that Montclair will continue to review and revise this practice annually based on business needs and applicable federal and state laws.
