Join us at Hinchliffe Stadium, Saturday October 26 as the Montclair State University Red Hawks take on the William Paterson Pioneers. Be sure to wear your Montclair gear! Stadium gates open at 10:00 a.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

Ticket Information

  • Tickets will be sold on-site and sales are cash only
  • Montclair and Bloomfield faculty, staff and students are free with University ID
  • Non-Montclair and Bloomfield students (middle school, high school, other institutions, etc) are $5 with a valid school ID
  • Children under 12 years old are $5
  • General admission is $10

Parking Information

  • Parking is available in the Hinchliffe deck located at 1 Jasper Street, Paterson, NJ for $7 — credit card only. For more parking information, please review the Hinchliffe Stadium parking guide.

Stadium Details

  • Concessions are cashless and will be available for purchase.
  • Please review the stadium’s clear bag policy.

  • Jason Williams (Justice Studies), is quoted in this NJ Spotlight News article about investigations of abuse and neglect at Essex County Juvenile Detention Center.
  • Rae Cade (Anthropology), is quoted in science news publication Eos for an article about how lack of water quality data is a form of environmental injustice.
  • Amy Tuininga (PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies), was named to ROI-NJ’s ROI Influencers: Environment 2024 list. The list honors “people whose work most impacts the environment in the state, whether that entails clean energy, offshore wind, electric vehicles, water or a host of other issues.”

Kudos

  • To the Feliciano School of Business for receiving official recognition as an IIA Internal Audit Awareness program. The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) commends colleges and universities that promote internal audit awareness and education through their curricula.
  • To Laura Quiros (Social Work and Child Advocacy), who delivered the keynote address at the 13th Annual Multidisciplinary CONTEXT Conference at William Paterson University.
  • To Suman Rath (Educational Leadership), who is the recipient of the 2024 Council for Exceptional Children’s TED Early Care and Excellence in Scholarship and Social Justice Award.
  • To Lora Billings (Science and Mathematics), who has received the 2024 Zenith Award from the Association for Women in Science. The Zenith Award honors senior career professionals with a lifetime of innovative achievements in STEM and a commitment to workplace diversity.
  • To Brenda Marshall and Rosita Rodriguez (Nursing), who have been awarded a three-year Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services grant. The grant will expand substance use disorder (SUD) education to graduate nursing students at Montclair, develop a SUD online certificate program and host an annual SUD conference each spring until 2027.
  • To Larissa Goulart (Linguistics), who gave a plenary presentation at the 2024 Technology for Second Language Learning Conference entitled “GENAI or Student Writing? Taking a register approach to the human/machine language variation.”
  • To the Spanish and Latino Studies Department who hosted their annual Alumni Reception for Spanish majors on October 9. The event brought together former students and current professors who shared their current initiatives and explored opportunities to collaborate. View photos of the event.
  • To David Kennedy (Professor Emeritus, Educational Foundations), whose new book, “Childhood, Philosophy, and Dialogical Education: (R)evolutionary Essays,” was published by the State University of New York Press.
