Attend the Hinchliffe Classic!

Join us at Hinchliffe Stadium, Saturday October 26 as the Montclair State University Red Hawks take on the William Paterson Pioneers. Be sure to wear your Montclair gear! Stadium gates open at 10:00 a.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

Ticket Information

  • Tickets will be sold on-site and sales are cash only
  • Montclair and Bloomfield faculty, staff and students are free with University ID
  • Non-Montclair and Bloomfield students (middle school, high school, other institutions, etc) are $5 with a valid school ID
  • Children under 12 years old are $5
  • General admission is $10

Parking Information

  • Parking is available in the Hinchliffe deck located at 1 Jasper Street, Paterson, NJ for $7 — credit card only. For more parking information, please review the Hinchliffe Stadium parking guide.

Stadium Details

  • Concessions are cashless and will be available for purchase.
  • Please review the stadium’s clear bag policy.

  • Thomas Franklin (School of Communication and Media), contributed a photo essay for NJ Spotlight News about a recent trip to Havana, Cuba.
  • Fanny Lauby (Political Science), is quoted in this NorthJersey.com article about “get out the vote” efforts.
  • Brigid Burke (Religion), is quoted in this Atlas Obscura feature about the modern urban legend of the “black-eyed children.”
  • Daniel Jean (Associate Provost for Educational Opportunity and Success Programs), and the University are featured in this Hechinger Report piece about four higher education institutions that are successfully graduating low-income students at much higher rates than average; the article was also published by NJ Spotlight News.
  • Jin-A Choi (School of Communication and Media), was interviewed for the “Something Offbeat” podcast on Audacy, discussing the pumpkin spice craze and how it has become a small industry in the U.S.
  • David Galef (English), contributed a piece for Inside Higher Ed about a school’s space assessment study.
  • Jaime Grinberg (Educational Foundations), was interviewed about the Middle East in the news and analysis program “La Noche,” televised live by NTN24, the influential international news broadcast network in Spanish that reaches all the Americas and parts of Europe.

  • To Benjamin Nienass (Political Science and Law), who was a part of a panel discussion for the New School’s book launch for the Struggles for Memory Against Violences in Mexico published by El Colegio de Mexico which was also co-edited by Benjamin Nienass.
  • To Karina Escobar (Office of Social Justice and Diversity), for hosting Rocky’s Closet Pop-Up which saw nearly 400 attendees and provided 1,2666 items to our community.
  • To Brian Krist (History), who was elected as a fellow of the New York State Academy for Public Administration at the Academy’s September 2024 board meeting.
