With their gift, Paterson native Chuck Muth ’77 and his wife, Laura, allow the University to become an educational partner in the creation of a museum and learning center at historic Hinchliffe Stadium.
Support the Red Hawk Pantry
Use of the Red Hawk Pantry has increased this fall by about 100 visits each week. By supporting the pantry with donations of goods or funds, you’ll help to ensure that our students in need have access to food and supplies.

- Did you know you can extend the functionality/mobility of your campus phone? Features such as extension to cellular, call forwarding, softphone, voicemail messages in your email inbox, and access to your voicemail messages through a web portal are all available to University employees with a campus phone extension. - Prepare for the 2022 tax season by reviewing and updating your personal information in Workday by December 16 to ensure your information is accurate for purposes of year-end reporting and W-2 distribution.

- To Michael Hannon (Counseling) for delivering the keynote address at the 8th Annual Youth Services Conference sponsored by the Passaic County Department of Human Services, division of Juvenile Administration. The conference’s theme was “Engaging Families, Empowering Communities.”
- To Richard Franke (Anthropology, Emeritus) for his 60-minute interview on “Against the Grain,” discussing his research about an initiative in India that devolved power to the community level and brought to light people’s needs and how best to address them.
- To Rebecca Madson (College of Humanities and Social Sciences) who was recently published in the international, peer-reviewed journal Youth, where she examined self-efficacy and individual adjustment through perceived stress in college-attending emerging adults. Co-Authors are Chih-Yuan Lee (Family Science and Human Development) and graduate student Paula B. Perrone.
- To Karen Ramsden and Darren Sweeper (Sprague Library) for being invited to present “Red Hawks Soar!: Showcasing our Unique Collections to Engage the University Community and Beyond” at the Northeast Institutional Repository Day 2022 conference.
- To Jason Strother (School of Communication and Media) for launching Lens15 Media, New Jersey’s first disability news platform and collaborating with faculty in the SCM and CHSS to ensure that audio description becomes a permanent feature of the University’s real and virtual spaces.
- To Cristiana Kunyczka (Global Engagement), Ken Sumner (Graduate School), Tim Hart (Graduate Admissions) and E. Morella (UCM) for updating the Graduate Admissions website to better target prospective students while providing current graduate students a dedicated home base with relevant information and resources at the new Graduate School site.
