In an intense and competitive program, six Montclair students were named 2022 American Heart Association’s Hispanic Serving Institutions Scholars, earning the University the largest number of scholarship winners in its first year of participation.

- Mark your calendars for one of the biggest days of the year – Homecoming takes place October 29. Join in the street fair festivities and don’t miss the Alumni Barbecue and Craft Beer Tent. Then, at 1 p.m., it’s game time! Come cheer the Red Hawks to victory over Christopher Newport!
- The Volunteer Center, in collaboration with the Red Cross, is hosting a fundraiser in support of Hurricane Ian relief until the end of the month.
- Roadwork on Normal Ave. at the train tracks is expected to last until Thursday, October 27 and during that time, traffic will be closed in both directions. Police are there to help ease traffic congestion during high peak times.
