Reminders

  • All employees must update their COVID-19 vaccination history using Vax Check no later than today at 5 p.m. to indicate if they have received a COVID-19 vaccination booster.
  • ITDS’s new bi-weekly interview series, Fridays with ITDS, kicks off on January 28 at 10 a.m. Library Services Dean Danianne Mizzy will discuss creating equitable, affordable and accessible course materials. Register and check out other upcoming events here.
  • Mac users printing to networked printers on campus need to reinstall their print drivers by Thursday, January 27 or you will be unable to print to your networked printer starting Monday, January 31. Visit IT for more info.

  • To Valeria Aloe, director of Strategic Planning at the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, on the publication of her book Uncolonized Latinas: Transforming Our Mindsets And Rising Together
  • To Bharath K. Samanthula and Boxiang Dong, assistant professors of Computer Science, who were awarded a three-year NSF grant to lead the new Research Experiences for Undergraduates site. This project will recruit and train students predominantly from underrepresented groups and will contribute to developing a more diversified cybersecurity workforce.
  • To Mariel Pagan, director of the Center for Student Involvement, who will be honored by the Passaic County Clerk’s Office at the March 8 International Women’s Day event for her work with the University’s Office for CIvic and Voter Engagement.
  • To the five employees who won $500 VISA gift cards in a raffle for all who have submitted proof of receiving a booster shot: Robert Taylor, Laura Field, Magnus Bebbington, Adrienne Gigantino and Reginia Judge.
