As an online Degree Completion student, you have access to a number of different resources and services.

Academic Advising

Your academic Success Coach will guide you through the transfer credit evaluation process and help you select your courses each semester.

Academic Support

Center for Academic Success and Tutoring (CAST)

The Center for Academic Success and Tutoring offers online tutoring appointments and workshops to provide additional support to help you succeed in your online courses.

Center for Writing Excellence (CWE)

The Center for Writing Excellence can help you through all stages of the writing process, including assistance with properly citing your sources, drafting and editing. They also offer free online consultations, workshops and webinars.

University Libraries

The Library offers a number of different resources to support online learners, including electronic databases and book reserves, online services and research guides, and more.

Canvas Communities

Degree Completion Central

As a student in the Degree Completion Program, you will have full access to our online Canvas community, Degree Completion Central. Here, you’ll find important news, announcements and updates about the program, connect with fellow peers in the program, as well as faculty and staff, and learn more about what’s happening at the University.

To access Degree Completion Central, please log into Canvas using your NetID and password.

Online Student Center

The Online Student Center is a Canvas community for online students to learn more about other available learning and campus resources.

Technology Support

Microsoft Office

Students who are part of an online degree program are eligible to receive free Microsoft Office. All you will need to access your free download is your Montclair State email address.

Career Services offers resources, tools, webinars and counseling for when you are ready to advance your career path.
