The Computer Science curriculum prepares students to design and implement software, to consider new ways to use computers, to assist in improving solutions to computer problems, and generally helps students to adapt to new ideas. The BS in CS and BS in IT are accredited by the Computer Accreditation Commission of ABET. The MA in Educational Leadership program at Union College offers students the opportunity to earn their Supervisor, Principal and School Administrator certifications. This two-year program starts in the fall semester and students take one course at a time, completing two eight-week hybrid courses per semester. The hybrid courses employ a learning approach that balances online and on-campus learning where students alternate weeks going to the UC campus and learning virtually.
