2025-2026 FAFSA is Open!
The early bird gets the worm… fill out your 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) today! Montclair’s priority deadline is March 1, 2025.

What Can I Do Now?
You and your parent(s)/step-parent or spouse can complete the FAFSA for the 205-26 year using your FSA IDs.
Parents without a Social Security Number should obtain an FSA ID at Create Account | Federal Student Aid. This will make it easier to complete the FAFSA on the web!
What Will Happen When I File the FAFSA?
- You will receive your FAFSA Submission Summary (with the information you provided on the FAFSA) within 3-5 days
- The college(s) you list on the FAFSA will receive your FAFSA data at the same time
- Montclair will begin processing financial aid for new students in mid-January and after May grades are posted for continuing students
