Activate Your New Duo Account
Montclair State University is switching to Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to make your login process smoother, faster and more secure, and you can start using it today!

Steps to Get Started
- Download Duo Mobile: Find it on the app or play store.
- Enroll Your Device:
- View the email that was sent to you today from “no-reply@duosecurity.com” with the subject line “Duo Security Enrollment.”
- Click on the enrollment link provided in the email.
- Follow the prompts to connect your device.
- Enable MFA:
- After enrolling, Duo will ask you to confirm each login with a verification code you will need to enter in your phone.
Add an Optional Backup Device: Add a second device (tablet or phone) in case your main device isn’t available. This is highly recommended.
- After enrolling, Duo will ask you to confirm each login with a verification code you will need to enter in your phone.
- Complete Enrollment by the Deadline: You have to complete the enrollment by the end of day on Monday, October 7. After that day, you will be prompted for Duo regardless and must complete the enrollment steps before you proceed to the application you were trying to login to.
