University Will Delay Opening Until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024
On Tuesday, January 16 There Will Be a Delayed Start on Both the Montclair and Bloomfield Campuses.

Montclair State University will delay opening on Tuesday morning due to the snowstorm. This applies to both the Montclair and Bloomfield campuses.
- Administrative offices and libraries are closed until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16.
- In-person classes scheduled to start before 11 a.m. are canceled. In-person classes that start at 11 a.m. or after will meet in-person.
- Campus activities scheduled before 11 a.m. are canceled.
- Online Classes will meet as scheduled.
- The Student Recreation Center will be closed until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16.
- Shuttles are stopping at 9 p.m. on Monday, January 15 and will resume service at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16.
- Residents who have a car on campus are encouraged to move cars from surface lots into CarParc Diem and remove them from the decks by 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16.
- Dining (Sam’s Place and Freeman Dining Halls) will operate on regularly scheduled hours.
Essential employees should report as scheduled. Any previously-approved time off will be charged.
The University plans to resume normal operations on Wednesday, January 17. A message will be sent if that plan changes.
