On-Campus Employment
On-campus work is broken up into two pathways: Federal Work Study (FWS) and Student Assistants (SA). Federal Work Study positions are federally funded and are based on your FAFSA, while Student Assistant positions are part-time jobs for students who do not receive FWS.
Students Assistants
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Undergraduate students must maintain a minimum of 9 credits per semester.
- Graduate students must maintain a minimum of 6 credits per semester.
- Cannot exceed 20 hours per week.
Federal Work Study
- If you have Federal Work Study funds, you should apply for on-campus jobs that are designated for FWS, although you can also apply for Student Assistant positions.
- Wondering if you have FWS? Head on over to NEST and click the “Financial Aid” tab. We also have a step-by-step guide on our website.
