Collage of different greek organizations

Greek Life is one of the deepest traditions at Montclair State University and our one-of-a-kind Greek community is home to many student leaders on campus. Governed by our Greek Council, our chapters each belong to a council based on the kind of organization they are. Learn more about our councils on our website.

Interested in joining a fraternity or sorority? You’ll have the opportunity this semester! You’ll need to have completed 12 credits and a minimum 2.7 GPA (cumulative) before you’re eligible to join. All intake processes will be online this semester. While a lot of our organizations will take new members this semester, not all of them will, so be patient and stay connected to the organizations you’re interested in.

Here are the Engage pages for our currently active organizations, where you can find contact information and their social media.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

**If you’re interested in joining one of our NPC organizations this semester, you must participate in Primary Recruitment, February 19-22, 2021. Interested women must sign up in advance. Sign up closes February 12!
