Parking Permit Registration Spring 2021

We look forward to your return this spring and would like to take this opportunity to remind you that all vehicles parking on Montclair State University’s campus must be registered to a valid Montclair State University permit.

Below you will find important information about campus parking including the permit registration schedule.

Before You Register, Remember:

1. Review your Permit Options online before registering.

2. Read the Parking Regulations:

• Commuter Parking:
  • Pricing has been adjusted to reflect the spring semester schedule.
  • Commuters can use short-term parking options available in the Red Hawk parking deck or utilize PayByPhone in designated commuter lots or metered areas if on campus for shorter periods.

• Resident Parking:
  • Pricing has been adjusted to reflect the spring semester schedule.
  • Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will be allowed to park in General/Commuter Lots. This excludes CarParc Diem parking deck which is reserved for Commuter Students 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
  • NJ Transit permits will not be available for sale from the Montclair State University website and will not be valid on any of the lots or decks if purchased directly from NJ Transit.

3. View the Parking Map to understand the campus layout before the start of the semester and download the Parker Parking App to know where spaces are available before arriving on campus.

It is the responsibility of all students who purchase a parking permit, to read and abide by the Parking Regulations and to ensure that all vehicle information is up-to-date. A parking map is available online.

Schedule for Student Parking Registration

Permits can be purchased beginning Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from Parking Services website per the following schedule.

The following permits are available for purchase online:

Commuter Student Permits

• Commuter (CS) Permit: $130.00 + tax
• Evening (EP) Permit: $63.00 + tax
• Red Hawk Parking Deck Permit: $200.00 + tax

Resident Student Permits

• Resident Permit: $175.00
• Red Hawk Parking Deck Permit: $200.00

The following permit is available for purchase at the Parking Services office only:

• Motorcycle Permit: $45.00

Please Note: Person With Disabilities (PWD) no longer need to be verified by Parking Services to obtain a permit. A Montclair State parking permit must be purchased and valid state-issued license plates or hangtag must be displayed to park in PWD spaces.
