Mental Health First Aid

What Is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid is an in-person, eight (8) hour course that teaches adults 18 years and older how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

Important Session Details

Once you register, you will receive an email asking you to sign up on the Mental Health First Aid Connect website and only after that can you be added to the course schedule.

Training is free for attendees, but space is limited, so please be sure to register only if you can attend the session.

Meals and materials are provided by Counseling and Psychological Services.
