Monday, March 11 – Sunday, March 17. Please review the details below concerning specific hours of operations for student services offices. Student services will resume the normal schedule on Monday, March 18.
Center for Writing Excellence (CWE)
Hours of Operation
- Monday, March 11 – Sunday, March 17:
- Monday – Thursday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Sunday: 4-9 p.m.
Online appointments (Zoom) and face-to-face appointments will be available. CWE will return to their regular schedule on Monday, March 18.
Computing Labs
The computer lending area in the Library will follow the Library Schedule.
Hours of Operation
- Monday, March 11 – Sunday, March 17:
- Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Friday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The sit down lab in University Hall, 5th Floor (UNIV5007) will be closed for the spring break. Computing Labs will return to their regular hours on Monday, March 18.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
If you wish to access services during the winter break, you can do so by calling the CAPS office. To reach a licensed mental health clinician after hours or over break, please call the CAPS front desk at 973-655-5211 and select option ‘2’.

Last full day for all dining locations will be Friday, March 8. Starting Saturday, March 9, meal plans will be deactivated until Sunday, March 17 and will resume at 4:30 p.m. on that day.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
EMS coverage will be provided 24 hours a day by Mutual Aid services from surrounding jurisdictions when EMS is unavailable. Emergency Medical Services are available 24 hours a day.

Parking Services
- Students: Weekend Parking Regulations Apply
- Weekend Parking Regulations will be in effect from Monday, March 11 through Sunday, March 17, for commuter and resident students with permits issued by Montclair State University. Please review the Parking Regulations web page for detailed information.
- Please Note: Lot 19 is excluded from weekend regulations.
- Faculty/Staff: All Parking Regulations Remain the Same
- Please Note: Faculty and staff permits, both full-time and part-time, will continue to be used as mentioned in the regulations with no changes.

Residence Life
Additional Information: Residence Life staff members are available to residential students after business hours by visiting the community’s front desk/main office or calling the Resident Assistant (RA) on Duty.

Shuttle Services

- Sunday: Regular Service Resumes at 8 a.m.
Normal Shuttle Service will resume on Sunday, March 17.
Sprague Library
The library’s online resources (eBooks, streaming media, databases, eJournals, research guides and more) are available 24/7 when the building is closed.

For the health and safety of everyone at Montclair State University, all students must call 973-655-3459 and make an appointment in order to be seen in the University Health Center. Please expect to answer a few screening questions to determine the type of appointment you will need.
