Winter break begins on Monday, December 18, 2023 and goes through Monday, January 15, 2024. Some offices have limited or alternative hours during this time. Please review the information below for details on each office.

Please Note: The University, and all corresponding offices, will be closed from Monday, December 25 – Monday, January 1.

Center for Academic Success & Tutoring

Professional Office

Parking Services

Students: Weekend Parking Regulations Apply. Weekend Parking Regulations will be in effect beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, through Tuesday, January 16, 2024, for commuter and resident students with permits issued by Montclair State University. Please review the parking regulations page for detailed information.

• Please Note: Lot 19 is excluded from weekend regulations.

Faculty/Staff: All Parking Regulations Remain the Same.

• Please Note: The University is open for business during this time and Winter Session courses are in effect. Faculty and staff permit restrictions for full-time and part-time will continue to be used as mentioned in the regulations with no changes.

Parking Office

Shuttle Services

The Student Recreation Center will resume normal operating hours on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Please Note: The Student Recreation Center’s main office will undergo a renovation project beginning Saturday, December 16, 2023. The main office will be closed during this time, and all in-person transactions will be paused. The Student Recreation Center will remain open. However, we will not be offering guest passes until the completion of this renovation. All membership sales and renewals will need to be completed online through our website. If any issues are encountered when registering online, call us at 973-655-3340, option 2. We are expecting the main office to reopen by Monday, January 15, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience.
