Avoid “Zoombombing”

There have been instances of “Zoombombing” in which individuals enter University meetings and webinars that don’t require passwords or have been publicly advertised that have been disruptive or hateful in chats, audio and video. Sometimes it’s random, other times they are jumping on advertised Zoom links.
Please only post Zoom links within Engage and make the events visible to only Montclair State users, having passwords for meetings and enabling the waiting room feature. Be mindful of what users are able to share on their screen.
Zoom Security Features
There are Zoom features that enhance security. Use them to help ensure your events go smoothly and are not interrupted. Become familiar with the capabilities of the host like being able to mute attendees or put them in a waiting room.
