We look forward to your return this fall and would like to take this opportunity to remind you that all vehicles parking on Montclair State University’s campus must be registered to a valid Montclair State University permit.
Below you will find important information about campus parking including the permit registration schedule.
Before you register, remember to:

- Review your Permit Options online before registering.
- Read the Parking Regulations – some things may have changed since last year.
Commuter parking changes include:

- Pricing has been adjusted to reflect the new fall semester schedule.
- Commuters can use short-term parking options available in the Red Hawk Deck or use Paybyphone in designated commuter lots or metered areas and CarParc Diem, if on campus for shorter periods.

Resident parking changes include:

- Pricing has been adjusted to reflect the new fall semester schedule.
- Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will be allowed to park in General/Commuter Lots.
- NJ Transit parking deck permits will no longer be available for sale from the University website. You can purchase a permit directly from NJ Transit for the NJ Transit parking deck only. Please Note: NJ Transit parking deck permits are not valid for parking on any University surface lot or in any University parking deck.
- View the Parking Map to understand the campus layout before the start of the semester and download the parker app to know where spaces are available before arriving on campus.

It is the responsibility of all students who purchase a parking permit, to read and abide by the Parking Regulations and to ensure that all vehicle information is up-to-date. A parking map can be found at www.montclair.edu/parking.

Permits can be obtained at www.montclair.edu/parking per the following schedule. These rates are for the fall semester, only.

Please Note: Person With Disabilities (PWD) will no longer need to be verified by Parking Services to obtain a permit. A University parking permit must be purchased and valid state-issued license plates or hangtag must be displayed to park in PWD spaces
