At the conclusion of the year, the SGA hands out awards at our Inaugural Ball honoring leaders throughout the executive, legislative, and judicial branch , as well as campus leaders from registered student organizations.
SGA Leadership Awards

Unsung Hero Award: This award recognizes a member of the student government association (SGA) who has made significant contributions to the organization and the campus community, but who may not have received the recognition they deserve. The recipient of this award is someone who has shown dedication, hard work, and commitment to advancing the goals and objectives of the SGA, often behind the scenes or without seeking recognition. This award aims to highlight the important work of individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to the SGA and the campus community, but who may not have been acknowledged for their efforts.

RSO Leadership Awards:
RSO President of the Year: This award recognizes a registered student organization (RSO) president who has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, initiative, and dedication in advancing their organization’s goals and objectives. The recipient of this award is someone who has inspired and motivated their team, fostered a positive and inclusive culture, and made significant contributions to the campus community.
Advisor Of the Year: This award recognizes a faculty or staff advisor who has provided outstanding guidance, support, and mentorship to a registered student organization. The recipient of this award is someone who has gone above and beyond to help their organization succeed, and who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the personal and professional development of their students.
Outstanding Devotion to Community Service and Outreach: This award recognizes a registered student organization that has demonstrated outstanding commitment to community service and outreach. The recipient of this award is an RSO that has made a significant positive impact on their community through volunteering, fundraising, or other service activities.
Registered Student Organization of the Year: This award recognizes a registered student organization that has demonstrated exceptional performance and achievement in advancing their goals and objectives. The recipient of this award is an RSO that has shown outstanding leadership, teamwork, creativity, and innovation in their programs, events, and activities.
Academic Registered Student Organization of the Year: This award recognizes a registered student organization that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to academic excellence and success. The recipient of this award is an RSO that has provided valuable academic resources, support, and opportunities to their members, and has contributed to a culture of academic achievement on campus.
