The Master of Arts in Social Research and Analysis can be completed in 16 months. Or students can take courses at a slower pace.
To complete the MA in Social Research and Analysis, students complete 30 credits in three areas:
- 6 required courses in survey research, interviews, ethnographies, focus groups, data analysis and data and text mining
- 3 elective courses with choices in social policy, business analytics, communications, and earth and environmental sciences
- 1 course (Research Practicum) in which they complete their own self-directed research project
