New Computational Linguistics MS Beginning Fall 2019

The program will provide students with the skill set to excel in an interdisciplinary field concerned with the modeling of natural language from a computational perspective.

The Graduate School at Montclair State University is excited to announce two new programs. One of these programs is the Computational Linguistics (MS), housed in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences in conjunction with the Computer Science department.

The Master of Science in Computational Linguistics is the only program of its kind in New Jersey! Using statistics and rule-based modeling students in computational linguistics are prepared to gather and study data related natural language in a digital world. Students will simultaneously study computational approaches to linguistic questions, providing two perspectives to the field.
