Montclair State Students Produce Special Webcast: “Get A Job”

"Get A Job" is a special webcast featuring Montclair State University students reporting on how they can prepare to find work after graduation. A team of producers, videographers and editors from Inside MSU spent much of the semester interviewing a job coach and recent University graduates about what advice they would give graduating seniors. The team included Tanja Rehki, senior producer; Jackie Loder, Alex Williams, Keila Fernandez and Randall Payton, producers; and Steve McCarthy as executive producer.

Also included in the special is a series of reports on Theatre and Dance Majors taking the Senior Showcase course, which culminates in the students performing for Broadway agents and casting directors in New York City. There’s also a feature on a TV production business started by Montclair State grads and a sports apparel business created by college students in Rhode Island.

Finally, the producers open up about their fears and dreams in a segment wrapping up the webcast.
