First Annual Media Operations Summit and Techspo (M.O.S.T.)

Broadcast and Media Operations hosted the First Annual Media Operations Summit and Techspo (M.O.S.T.) on October 23rd. Designed for high school and college students, faculty and staff, attendees were able to explore new tools and cutting edge technology for content creators. Fourteen manufacturers participated, including Sony, BlackMagic, Shure, EVS, ETC, Videndum and others. Over 150 students were in attendance.

Keynote speaker Jon Crowley, Executive Director of the NJ Motion Picture & Television Commission offered career advice to students and also noted that NJ currently has 12 major productions shooting in the state and is consistently among the top three states with the most production activity, behind only California and New York. Associate Director David Schoner was also in attendance, chatting with students and giving advice as well.
