About Us
The Public Speaking Resource Center is open to all Montclair State University students, faculty, and staff that are preparing to speak publicly. Experienced speech consultants assist with all aspects of the speech preparation process including topic selection, research, outlining, and delivery.
Working with a speech consultant provides individuals and groups valuable feedback and also diminishes speech anxiety.
Our Hours
- Mondays: 1:00-4:00 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 1:00-5:00 p.m.
- Thursdays: 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Locations
- For general inquires: Morehead Hall, Room 103
- Sessions are held in: Morehead Hall, Rooms 211, 213 and 215.
How To Signup for a Session
While the Center does welcome walk-ins, it is best to schedule an appointment to ensure you get to meet with a speech consultant at your desired time.
