Education & Programs

Expand Your Education

We work closely with the Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies department, which also offers a minor in LGBTQ Studies, to provide programs and workshops for classes as well as opportunities for you to get involved outside the classroom. The connection links the academic and student development components together, providing you with a well-rounded experience.

Explore Your Individuality

Whether you are looking to socialize with your peers, meet new friends, or obtain services and support there are many ways to get involved! Some of those opportunities are listed below.

  • Affinity Circle: A welcoming space for students to connect, share experiences, and build friendships in a supportive environment while exploring relationships, and community in the context of sexuality.
  • Beyond Labels: A weekly discussion and support space for students who want a more meaningful understanding of relationships, love, intimacy and their own value systems.
  • Special Interest Housing: The Office of Residence Life offers Open Housing and an Inclusive and Affirming Living-Learning Space, both great options!
