Erin Kang Awarded Slifka/Ritvo Innovation in Autism Research Award

Erin Kang, assistant professor in Psychology, is the 2022 recipient of the Slifka/Ritvo Innovation in Autism Research Award, which honors the most meritorious and innovative research ideas of junior investigators. The associated grant from International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) and Alan B. Slifka Foundation will support her research in characterizing plasticity of the social brain in autistic youth using a promising, novel electrophysiological index.
The Alan B. Slifka Foundation seeks to promote innovative research on autism spectrum disorder that will lead to novel treatments and improvements in the quality of life of individuals with autism, as well as novel discoveries regarding the basic science of autism. The Foundation partners with INSAR in honoring the most meritorious and innovative research ideas of junior investigators
