Corey Ford-Graham – Outstanding Oral Presentation Award

Congratulations to Corey Ford-Graham, Class of 2017, for receiving the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award at the Student Research Symposium on April 28, 2017. His research is titled “Black Students Coping with Racial Microaggressions in Everyday Life.” Sandra Lewis, professor in the Department of Psychology and director of the African American Studies program, served as his advisor.
During his time at Montclair State University, Ford-Graham, a Psychology major, has served as a research assistant for Sandra Lewis as well as Jennifer Pardo, also a professor in the Department of Psychology.
Ford-Graham aims to continue this research in graduate school, where he wants to focus on clinical psychology and cognitive research.
