Interdisciplinary Team Receives 2016 Undergraduate Poster Presentation Award

Congratulations to to the winners of the undergraduate poster presentation competition at the Student Research Symposium in April. Titled “Music influences food selection,” the research was presented by Sarah Lyons (CHSS) and her co-authors Alexandra Pyper (CEHS), Tamaru Geller (CART), Khadeeja Riaz (CEHS), Scarlet Ruiz, and Sara Panei. Their advisor was Debra Zellner, professor in the Department of Psychology.
The research is an outgrowth from work they did in Zellner’s Fall 2015 special topics course. Next, the team aims to get the research published in an academic journal.
