- The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
- Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015,the Agenda provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
- The Global Indicator Framework for Sustainable Development
- The global indicator framework for Sustainable Development Goals was developed by the Inter-Agency and Expert Group on SDG Indicators (IAEG-SDGs) and agreed upon at the 48th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission held in March 2017. It is used for the follow up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It is maintained by the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), a division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA). The PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies used this Framework to map (include link to the map) the SDGs to the work of the University’s Colleges and Schools.
