In collaboration with the Office of the Provost the Committee invites faculty, staff, and key community stakeholders to half-day campus event dedicated to advancing the university’s internationalization efforts.
Established in Fall 2024 in response to the final report findings of the Global Reach Task Force (GRTF), the International Advisory Committee (IAC) addresses the critical need for a structured approach to internationalization. Following the Office of the Provost’s acceptance of the GRTF’s key recommendations, the IAC Steering Committee was formed, comprising members from the original task force. This committee ensures continuity in internationalization efforts, offering strategic direction and fostering collaboration with university leadership.

The International Advisory Committee (IAC) advises the Provost on advancing and implementing the University’s internationalization goals as initially set forth by its Global Reach Task Force (GRTF).
Led by Dr. Arnaud Kurze, the IAC Steering Group includes diverse members from the original Montclair State University Global Reach Task Force, ensuring continuity and expertise. The IAC collaborates closely with the Provost and President’s Offices to create a cohesive global education philosophy, aligning strategic goals with Montclair’s identity as a community-engaged, minority-majority student population, and Hispanic-Serving Institution. Key initiatives include developing a clear agenda, setting timelines, and establishing a strong online presence to promote global initiatives. The IAC also assists in the hiring of leadership to direct future international education efforts, ensuring Montclair’s growing global footprint is well-coordinated and sustainable.
