Vera Senina is a Faculty Developer in the Office for Faculty Excellence. She works with faculty of all ranks to support their teaching practice, guiding them through teaching challenges and facilitating the integration of innovative teaching strategies. Her areas of expertise include adaptive learning, generative AI pedagogies, course design, and graduate instructor support.

Vera's scholarship and teaching spans across multiple disciplines, including postcolonial studies, medical humanities, language AI, and second language acquisition. She is a regional expert on Eastern Europe and is currently working on a book-length project about Russia-Ukraine cultural relations. Vera is a first-generation high-school and college graduate, and an alumna of Montclair State's MA program in Applied Linguistics.
