Profile
Prof. Arcurio's scholarly interests include visual rhetoric, digital composition, and semiotics. Her primary interest is in visual and digital rhetorics and how meaning is shaped through aesthetics such as typography, color, form, texture, and other design elements.
Her professional background includes finance, publishing, and visual design.
She received her B.A. in English from Montclair State University, magna cum laude. She later earned her M.A. in English, with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition. She teaches courses in First-Year Writing and the Public and Professional Writing Major and Minor.
