For Scholarships Requiring Institutional Endorsement: All interested students must consult with a scholarship advisor before applying for any prestigious scholarship that requires institutional endorsement. You must be selected by Montclair State University through an internal application process to be eligible. You can apply to any scholarship(s) that do not require an endorsement, though it is encouraged that you seek additional guidance and assistance with your application first.

Barry Goldwater Scholarship

The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program awards scholarships to current sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue careers in the fields of science, mathematics, and engineering. All current sophomores and juniors majoring in these fields who are U.S. citizens, Permanent Residents, or U.S. Nationals, and have a GPA of at least 3.0 are eligible to apply. The scholarship provides up to $7,500 annually for eligible educational expenses.

Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship
