Investiture of Jonathan GS Koppell

On Thursday, September 15, 2022 Montclair State celebrated a momentous occasion in the life of the University with the Investiture of Jonathan GS Koppell as its ninth president.

The campus welcomed dignitaries – presidents and representatives from other universities, as well as state, county and local elected officials – for the ceremony. A festival celebrating the University’s programs and public service partnerships was held on the Alumni Green in front of Cole Hall and a campus-wide reception immediately followed the ceremony outside of Memorial Auditorium.
