President’s Opening Day Address to the University Community, 2008

In what has become an annual tradition, President Susan A. Cole launched the University’s second century and the 2008-2009 academic year on September 2, 2008 with her Opening Day Address to the University Community.

Speaking to a standing-room-only audience in the Kasser Theater, President Cole reviewed the University’s goals, introduced a few of the many new faculty members and students beginning their association with Montclair State in 2008, and spoke of the University’s history and mission.
