Dear Campus Community,

This is a friendly reminder that the KnowBe4 Phish Alert Button (PAB) is now available for use campus wide! The PAB makes it quick and easy for you to report suspicious emails directly from your inbox, helping to keep our campus secure from phishing and cyber threats.

Why Use the PAB?

Quickly Report Suspicious Emails – One click sends the email to the Information Security team for review
Improve Campus Security – Reporting helps us take proactive steps to protect everyone
Enhance Your Cyber Awareness – Recognizing phishing attempts strengthens our defenses

Student Access

Check Your Email – On Thursday, March 13th, 2025 you should have received an email with the subject, Gmail Phish Alert Add-on Activation

Manual Registration Key – Add this key to the PAB license box to activate the feature

How to Use It

  1. If you receive a suspicious email, click the Phish Alert Button hook located on the right hand side of your inbox
  2. The email will be forwarded to the Information Security team for analysis
  3. You’ll receive confirmation that your report was received

Please refrain from using the KnowBe4 PAB button to report non-suspicious emails or spam, as it is intended solely for reporting phishing attempts.
