Join us for a presentation by a librarian from the Harry A. Sprague Library. Learn about the multitude of library resources available and how to access them remotely.
Simplifying APA Style | October 5, 2021 at 7 p.m. EST
The Center for Writing Excellence will be giving a presentation on the ins and outs of APA style. APA style can be confusing and overwhelming. This workshop will cover the basics of APA style so you feel confident in your citations.
Career Services | November 10, 2021 at 12 p.m. EST
Whether you are considering a career change, exploring new opportunities, or looking for ways to advance your career, this workshop will give you the resources and tools to succeed! Topics will vary each session including areas such as cover letters, resume building, LinkedIn, job search techniques, networking, and more.
Unraveling Stress | December 1, 2021 at 7 p.m. EST
Dr. Sudha Wadhwani, a Staff Psychologist/ Coordinator of Outreach and Community Intervention from Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will be leading a presentation on stress and time management. As we head into the holidays and end of the fall semester, take a moment to practice self-care and learn tips for managing stress. Dr. Wadhwani will also be reviewing the CAPS resources that are available remotely.
All workshops will be held at 7 p.m. EST, with the exception of the November workshop which will be during the day. Each presentation will be 30 minutes with 15 minutes of Q&A at the end.
