Montclair State University | Online: Extends Graduate Application Deadline

Application due 12/14 for Online MA programs.

Posted in: Montclair Online

Due to the impact that Hurricane Sandy may have had on you, your family, and friends, the Office of Extended Learning and the Graduate School has extended the application deadline for the Online MA in Child Advocacy and Policy and the Online MA in Educational Leadership. All of us have friends and relatives who are trying to return to normal after struggling with damage to their homes, loss of power, transportation difficulties, and other problems affecting their well-being. Many of us are sharing in those problems ourselves. As we all try to re-engage and move forward, we want to help facilitate the completion of your application to our online graduate programs.

First, the application deadline for submission of all materials has been extended to December 14, 2012. Second, while power has returned to most and gasoline begins to flow, the region is still recovering from the full effects of the storm, including disruptions in the U.S. mail service. A few general mail facilities were severely impacted, including one that serves Montclair State.

In an effort to expedite the application review process, you can submit your supporting documents by fax or email:

Fax: 973-655-7869
Attention: Online MA – Urgent

Scan and Email: Graduate.School@montclair.edu
Subject Line: Your Full Name and Online M.A. – Urgent

If you have already started the application process, you may follow this link to check your application status. If you know your letters of recommendation or your official transcripts were sent and your application status is not reflecting these as received, please contact The Graduate School admissions office directly at 973-655-5147 and press option 6 to speak directly with someone who can assist.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns you can contact the Office of Extended Learning at 973-655-7110 or via e-mail at online@mail.montclair.edu.

We wish you, your families, and friends our best regards with the hope that any damage brought to you and your families by the storm is reparable, and look forward to welcoming you as Montclair State students shortly.

Sincerely,
Jamieson Bilella
