Nurse Educator Scholarship Available for the Online MSN

Montclair’s School of Nursing is now offering a Nurse Educator Scholarship for Fall 2023. The tuition scholarship will assist newly enrolled Online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) students in the Nursing Education concentration pay for their first Fall 2023 course.

“It has been a challenging few years. There is a severe shortage of nurse educators, which greatly impacts the quality of new graduate nurses’ transition to practice, and ultimately the quality of patient care. In response, the School of Nursing is proud to partner with Johnson & Johnson to provide this scholarship opportunity,” says Joan Valas, post-licensure program director of the School of Nursing.

Applicants are encouraged to apply early as scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Nursing Education concentration of the 35-credit Online Master of Science in Nursing degree program builds on your clinical expertise by providing the necessary learning experiences to educate the next generation of nurses. Coursework focuses on curriculum development, theories of measurement and evaluation, and outcomes-based approaches that promote relevant, safe and effective professional practice to improve outcomes. Graduates are prepared to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences in a variety of academic and clinical settings.
