Graduate Open House – Spring 2020

Join faculty and staff from the School of Nursing on Sunday, February 23rd at 10:30 am for the Spring Graduate Open House!

At this event, you will have the chance to:

• Meet individually with faculty and staff from the School of Nursing
• Attend an informative breakout session on one of our graduate nursing programs
• Network with current and prospective graduate students

Event Details

10:30 am – 11:45 am: Pre-Session Event

• Learn about Montclair State’s academics and student life by interacting with current students during this Q&A session and hear from Vice Provost for Research and Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Scott Herness. (University Hall)

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: School of Nursing Program Sessions

• Have you ever thought about becoming a registered nurse, but earned your baccalaureate degree in a non-nursing discipline? Hear from Janice Smolowitz, Dean of the School of Nursing, in a breakout session focusing on the accelerated, pre-licensure, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Concentration in Care Coordination and Transition Management. (School of Nursing – RM 120)
• Join Joan Valas, Director of Graduate Nursing, as she hosts an informative breakout session focusing on our fully online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Degree Program. With concentrations in Nursing Administration, Nursing Education, and Clinical Research Coordination, this program prepares RNs for advance practice positions. (School of Nursing – RM 160)
