Come Home for Homecoming!
This weekend marks a return to campus for annual alumni event
Posted in: Alumni, University
The long-awaited countdown to Homecoming has begun. Don’t miss a day of fun, family, food and free parking — not to mention football, field hockey, soccer and school spirit. Always a fun day (rain or shine) this year’s homecoming on October 9 is extra special because it’s back on campus and in-person.
This year’s many events include a street fair with music, food, and carnival games on the promenade, an alumni gathering tent in front of Cole Hall, a student talent showcase at the historic amphitheater and an alumni tailgate for those 21 years and older with beer, wine, food and a live band.
Among the day’s other highlights will be the Red Hawk football game against TCNJ and the half-time festivities that will include recognition of the Knute Rockne Championship Team celebrating the 50th anniversary of the game. Other athletic events include field hockey and men’s soccer.
To register and view a full list of events, including an address by President Jonathan Koppell, visit the Homecoming website.
Prior to arrival, please complete our COVID-19 self-screening tool, Hawk Check, and be prepared to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours. Please review the University COVID-19 protocols about mask wearing and precautions for campus events.
