Women’s Basketball Takes NJAC Regular-Season Title

The Montclair State University women’s basketball team closed out the regular season with a 50-47 victory over Richard Stockton on February 18. The Red Hawks ended the season with a 24-1 overall record (17-1 in-conference) and the NJAC regular-season title for the third consecutive year.
Ranked seventh in the nation on the D3Hoops.com Top25 Poll and eighth on the USA Today/Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Poll, the Red Hawks will once again head into the NJAC Championship Tournament as the No. 1 seed.
Montclair State, which has won the last two conference crowns, will have a first-round bye and host a semifinal contest at the Panzer Athletic Center on Wednesday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. against The College of New Jersey.
